Soror Ellen Kelly is being recognized as one of Bermuda's premier authors and educators. Inducted into BAC in 2006, she exemplifies a Delta Woman of compasion, wisdom and knowledge. For decades she has advocated the importance of reading in Bermuda and believes that History should be passed down from one generation to the next. She is the proud author of two children's books -

1. The Adventures of Lorain, 1982
2. Lorain, 1995

Soror Ellen further contributed to the literary community by establishing a publishing company of her own called, Kelly Associates. Under her company, she published two books from Bermudian authors -

1. Author Raisa Tuzo, Sewing the Seeds of Love
2. Principal Carol Bassett, When I was Little

In addition to being a loyal member to BAC, she is also a Lioness of Easter Lioness and a member of the MayFlower Lodge. Soror Ellen is currently the M3 Team Leader at Delwood Middle School and teacher of Language Arts.

Bermuda Alumnae Chapter is proud to feature Ellen Kelly for our Soror Spotlight!
